A day indoors photographing fruits

Hi Readers!

Since yesterday was a rainy day, I spent indoors and was experimenting with taking photographs of fruits in window light. The light was changing rapidly and when there were light clouds, the soft window light was falling on the hardwood floors.

I placed a few fruits on the floor and placed a black cardboard behind for a clean black background.

There are soft shadows and you can see reflection in the floor. I am pleased with the result. I hope you like it too.

This is my first attempt at food photography and I am happy to say that I have discovered another area where a kit lens can be of use.

I have uploaded this to food photography groups on flickr and have found some amazing photographs of food that make it look yummy and mouthwatering! This area is something I intend to continue in the future too.

Thanks for reading!
